We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA / SAP Datasphere Engineer to work the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions. This role is responsible for building scalable data models, ensuring high-performance data integration, and assisting the transition to modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical person with SAP knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to partner with technical and business teams to deliver robust analytics capabilities.

This is Hybrid position based in Puerto Rico, must reside in Puerto RicoWhat You Will Do:
  • Design and implement complex data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
  • Assist with modernization efforts, including migration from legacy BW systems and integration with cloud data platforms.
  • Build and optimize HANA native models, SQLScript logic, and calculation views.
  • Develop high-performance ETL pipelines using SDI, SLT, or BODS.
  • Partner with analytics teams to deliver semantic models for SAC, or other BI tools.
  • Assist with incident resolution, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for SAP data systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Support DevOps processes including gCTS/CTS+, Git-based workflows, CI/CD automation.
  • Contribute to architecture roadmaps, technology evaluations, and long-term strategic planning.

  • Hands‑on ABAP knowledge for transformations, user exits, and routines.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling best practices and performance optimization.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • SAP to cloud migration experience (BW/4HANA or Datasphere).
  • Knowledge of SAC, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Exposure to SAP MDG or enterprise master data strategies.
