Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Waterloo, IA 50701
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift - Start time between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM
Description:
Job Summary
Entry-level supply management role supporting supply chain operations, supplier performance, critical part shortages, and production continuity. The position will work closely with Purchasing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support supply chain planning activities for the Waterloo OFP Metal Fab Desk.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the Purchasing Desk supporting Large Tractor operations.
  • Manage critical part shortages and delinquent supplier requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential line-down risks.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve supply issues.
  • Support supplier management and supplier performance activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data using established tools and processes.
  • Plan and coordinate product/process testing and inspections when required.
  • Implement and monitor corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolve supplier and internal customer inquiries related to policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, databases, and Microsoft Office documents.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and codes of conduct.
