Role: Test Data Management Lead (TDM- Lead)
Location: Reston, VA (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement enterprise-scale TDM solutions using Broadcom Test Data Manager across both distributed and mainframe environments.
  • Configure and manage Broadcom TDM for enterprise use-cases: data discovery/profiling, data masking/subsetting, synthetic generation, and self-service provisioning.
  • Establish TDM workflows integrated with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) leveraging Broadcom TDMโ€™s automation.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and data engineering teams to enable high-velocity TDM via Broadcomโ€™s portal, rule definitions, and reusable models.
  • Enforce data security and compliance: use Broadcom TDM capabilities for PII scanning, masking at scale, audit logging and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA.
  • Lead parallel test stream enablement: use Broadcom TDM to clone and virtualize data environments, support multiple test tracks concurrently.
  • Optimize TDM performance: exploit Broadcom TDMโ€™s scalable masking engine (e.g., clustering, container-based jobs) and monitor via dashboards.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise, train teams on Broadcom TDM best practices, build libraries of masking/subsetting rules, synthetic templates, and governance frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years in IT; minimum 8+ years implementing Test Data Management solutions (preferably Broadcom Test Data Manager).
  • Verified experience with Broadcom Test Data Manager (also formerly โ€œCA Test Data Managerโ€) including configuration, rule-writing, portal setup, synthetic data features.
  • Strong data-masking/subsetting/virtualization skillsโ€”especially using the Broadcom TDM engine across RDBMS and mainframe,
  • Experience in hybrid and mainframe technology stacks: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, mainframe data, NoSQL plus modern cloud data stores.
  • Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Shell, SQL) to drive Broadcom TDM integration in DevOps toolchains.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory data security and privacy (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and how to enforce via Broadcom TDM.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to lead TDM implementation teams and engage across test, data, and DevOps functions.
  • Experience with Broadcom TDMโ€™s synthetic data generation features and templated rule sets (Data Assistant Plus) for complex models.
  • Experience implementing TDM in agile/DevOps environments with service virtualization and test data automation using Broadcom solutions.
  • Familiarity with broad enterprise test-data strategies: test environment provisioning, consumption monitoring, data-warehouse test data, and Broadcom TDM portal lifecycle.
  • Prior work in regulated industries (financial services, banking, healthcare) where Broadcom TDM was used for large-scale data masking and compliance.
