JOB SUMMARY:
The Market Intelligence Intern will support DHL eCommerce's Market Intelligence function by assisting in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market and competitive insights. This role provides hands-on experience in research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research & Analysis
  • Support day-to-day market intelligence activities, including monitoring industry news, competitor developments, and emerging e-commerce retail and logistics trends.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify key insights relevant to strategic priorities and commercial initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and summaries to communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across DHL eCommerce to gather and share relevant market insights.
  • Support the coordination and dissemination of competitor intelligence and industry updates across the organization.
  • Help consolidate feedback and insights from customer-facing teams to enhance overall market visibility.
  • Process Improvement & Automation
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improving efficiency in market intelligence workflows.
  • Support the development of tools, templates, or processes that help automate data collection, analysis, or reporting.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving scalability and reducing manual effort in recurring tasks.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with GenAI and data visualization is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in market trends, competitive analysis, and the logistics/eCommerce industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.
  • Regular sitting at workstation for 25 - 75% of the work shift.
