Your future role at a glance

Location: Wichita, KS

Facility: Via Christi Hospital St. Francis

Department: Nursing Administration

Schedule: Evening Shift | Part-Time, 27 hours weekly, Hours from 12:00pm-10:00pm

Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Ensure daily clinical staffing coverage by reviewing and assisting with staff assignments.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling systems and records for all staffing changes and assignments.
  • Collaborate with unit leadership to facilitate staffing adjustments that minimize financial impact.
  • Collect and report on financial indicators and key staffing-related data.
  • Act as a resource for staff scheduling inquiries and manage administrative documentation for the staffing office.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Drive) and digital record management.
  • Strong data entry accuracy and excellent communication skills for professional clinical coordination.
  • Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
