What We are Looking For

This position is responsible for biographical data maintenance, data integrity, and data management. The Assistant Director of Data Management manages the day-to-day activities of the data management team in the update and maintenance of biographical records. Successful candidates for this role must possess a high attention to detail as well as strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

A bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience are required.

Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the daily activities of the Data Management team
  • Manage and coordinate daily processes to the Blackbaud CRM (Vision) database, including student, parent and alumni data loads
  • Responsible for merging duplicate constituent data
  • Maintain database accuracy and depth by overseeing seasonal data projects from our Data Management plan
  • Responsible for reviewing data integrity reports and delegating cleanup projects to the Data Management specialists
  • Coordinate with ITS and other key areas of Advancement to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Creation and review of data management documents to include standard operating procedures that meet industry standards and comply with University Advancement's Data Governance Guidelines
  • Collaborate with the gift processing, prospect management and reporting teams on projects as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
