Data Lake Test Analyst Jobs (NOW HIRING)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Columbus, OH that is seeking a Lead QA Test Analyst. This role will work 4 days a week.
Summary:
We are looking for a Lead QA Test Analyst in our Data Lake, Data Warehouse team. In this role you will be part of a team working to develop solutions enabling the business to leverage data as an asset at the bank. As a Lead QA Test Analyst, you will work to develop test strategies and test plans for Data Lake projects ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced, working closely with multiple technologies teams across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Actively participate in the review of project requirements, data mappings and technical design specifications
* Create test strategies and test plans for Data Lake projects, mapping back to the project requirements to ensure proper test coverage
* Execute test cases in Azure DevOps using manual and/or automated test processes
* Execute SQL database queries to support test execution. Strong SQL skills required
* Having knowledge of the code, Perform ETL validation according to data mapping, execute data profiling, reconciliation of data, meta data validation, initial and delta validation for different SCD types
* Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality issues
* Coordinate test execution with other application teams and UAT partners
* Create and communicate test status with project team members and stakeholders
* Identify, document, and communicate testing defects
* Collaborate with project team on defect analysis and triage
* Support continuous improvement by identifying and solving opportunities to define or enhance QA process
* Perform Functional, Regression, Negative and migration testing for the Data warehouse projects
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of ETL testing experience in data warehouse environment
* 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries
* 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud
* 2+ years of experience leading QA Analysts on a project team
* Requires theoretical and practical knowledge of quality assurance, testing principles, ETL technologies and tools: including Cloud AWS, Snowflake, DataStage, Python, Zena, Infogix, Tableau, Azure DevOps, Mainframe and SharePoint
Preferred:
* Experience in financial services (banking) industry
* Experience testing on Snowflake and AWS S3/EC2/EMR
* Experience with data governance and data management approaches
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
* Detail oriented and highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
