We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager (Enterprise Data Architect & Integration Lead) to own and drive our organization's data architecture strategy while leading development and integration practices. This role combines hands-on architecture with team leadership, serving as a key bridge between data strategy, application development, and enterprise integration.
The successful candidate will act as a player-coach, guiding a distributed team of developers while defining and implementing scalable, secure, and governed data and integration solutions. This individual will build upon an established SDLC and development framework to ensure continued maturity, adoption, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping the firm's data and integration landscape. The Enterprise Data Architect & Integration Lead will play a central role in enabling scalable systems, improving data accessibility and quality, and driving long-term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Data & Integration Architecture
  • Own and drive the firm's enterprise data architecture strategy, including data modeling, data flows, and platform design
  • Define and implement a data architecture roadmap aligned with business goals and system integration needs
  • Establish standards for data modeling, data storage, and data lifecycle management
  • Design and oversee data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data integrations
  • Define and enforce data governance practices, including data quality, lineage, security, and access controls
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure data architecture supports reporting, analytics, and operational use cases
  • Align application and integration design with enterprise data architecture principles

Integration & Automation Strategy
  • Define and lead the enterprise integration strategy, including APIs, workflows, and system connectivity
  • Design and oversee API architectures and integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, event-driven, etc.)
  • Guide the development of automation solutions and workflows to streamline business processes
  • Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards
  • Collaborate with business teams and vendors to deliver robust integration solutions

Software Development & SDLC Ownership
  • Own and evolve the firm-wide Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability
  • Ensure adoption of development standards including code quality, testing, documentation, and deployment practices
  • Define and maintain the development toolchain and platforms (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, environments)
  • Promote best practices across version control, branching strategies, and release management

Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of early-career developers focused on automation and integration
  • Provide coaching, career development, and technical guidance to grow team capabilities
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and accountable team culture
  • Act as a technical leader and escalation point for complex development and integration challenges

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, software development, or system integration, including leadership experience
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data architectures and integration solutions
  • Strong experience with data modeling, database design, and data pipeline architecture
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric)
  • Hands-on experience with API design and integration technologies (REST, GraphQL, SOAP, Webhooks)
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices and SDLC frameworks
  • Experience with development tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub, automated testing frameworks)
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, JSON, Node.js
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Experience working with Active Directory and enterprise application environments
  • Demonstrated success leading and mentoring distributed or global teams
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience implementing data governance frameworks or tools (e.g., cataloging, lineage, quality monitoring)
  • Exposure to modern data architectures (data lakehouse, data mesh, event-driven systems)
  • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, data architecture, or software development
