Amentum is looking for a Senior Logistics Business Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL. We're pipelining candidates for a future role. You have a desire to strive for continuous improvement. Responsibilities: * Senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). * Defines the detailed requirements, analyzes the business needs, and validates solutions with the client. * Details requirements through product development and other functions to support the project team. * Monitors other business analysts in software development methods and processes and implementation of those methods. * Evaluates development projects and assists in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs. * Assess the quality of Metadata documentation through both automated and manual methods * Provide data/information to a single point of reference or repository for alignment of Army Business Processes, Business Terms/Vocabulary, and Technical Assets across the Army Logistics enterprise. * Utilize data analysis tools to include SQL, Microsoft Access, and Excel to query data from multiple complex relational databases and other data sources in support of customer data requests. * Maintain an awareness of trends that could potentially affect the customer (positive and negative) Amentum is a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions, trusted by the United States and its allies to address their most significant and complex challenges in science, security and sustainability. Minimum Requirements: * Master's degree and at least 10 years of Business Analyst experience * Or a Bachelor's degree, and at least 12 years of Business Analyst experience * Or an Associates degree, and at least 14 years of Business Analyst experience * Or a High school diploma/GED, and at least 16 years of Business Analyst experience * Background in Army logistics * Understanding and awareness of ERP interfaces and dependencies * Knowledge and understanding of the Logistics Enterprise transformation into an ERP-dominated environment * Experience querying and analyzing data from various sources using tools (such as SQL, Python, PySpark, Vantage, etc.) to process large datasets in a distributed cluster * A range of technical knowledge, including application development, project management, scheduling, etc. * Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Vantage and/or Collibra * Communication and presentation skills to perform stakeholder management, resolution management, and facilitate Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) * Ability to articulate objectives of enterprise data quality management * Ability to work in an ever-changing environment managing multiple tasks and projects * Ability to participate in implementing innovative ideas, projects and business solutions * Previous lead / supervisory experience Compensation Details:
