We’re seeking a Data Processing Specialist to join our team. This role will report to the Director of Customer Experience and is responsible for ensuring the accurate entry, maintenance, and validation of data across key business systems. The Data Processing Specialist supports day-to-day data operations, resolves discrepancies, and helps maintain data integrity to enable efficient business processes and decision-making.

This position plays an important role in supporting operational accuracy and performance by ensuring data is complete, consistent, and accessible across systems. The Data Processing Specialist supports business operations through accurate transaction processing, data maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer, product, pricing, and order information is reliable and up to date.

What you will be doing:

  • Enter, update, and maintain data across ERP and business systems
  • Process and maintain customer orders, including order updates, backorder management, and order fulfillment activities
  • Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies or errors
  • Maintain customer master data, including address book and related records within the ERP system
  • Support pricing requests, customer forecasts, and product availability inquiries through accurate data management
  • Prepare and distribute order acknowledgements and other business communications as needed
  • Partner with customers, Sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure data, order, and delivery requirements are met
  • Support data audits, reporting, and quality control processes
  • Assist with data uploads, system updates, and process changes
  • Maintain documentation related to data processes and workflows
  • Support reporting needs by ensuring clean, reliable data inputs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance data accuracy and efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in data entry, data processing, administrative support, or customer service
  • Experience working with ERP systems or business data platforms preferred
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
