Job description

IT Infrastructure Analyst III
Sacramento, CA
12+ months

Responsibilities:
Duties with the Cloud
Cloud Consulting
SME on Cloud Solutions offered by Azure and AWS
Provide guidance to County Staff on consuming cloud resources (which services, and how)
Keep current with updates to Cloud technologies and best practices
Project Management
Participate in Cloud or Hybrid solutions leveraging Cloud infrastructure
Deploy and configure cloud resources related to projects
Troubleshoot Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Issues
Monitor and repair critical enterprise systems
Build out Cloud only and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure
Manage multi-hub-spoke architecture with permanent connectivity to County On-Premise datacenters
Deploy and configure various cloud services with/without on-premise availability
Enhance governance strategies in relation to the following areas:
Distributed Billing
Role Based Access Controls / Access Management
Resource Management
Enhance security posture of cloud resources
24x7 Best Effort Availability to support select critical environments (311)
Required Skills:
Azure and AWS
Understanding of Enterprise Infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, network segments, virtual machines, etc)
Linux and Windows Systems Administration
Technical Design for Enterprises
Strong background in Network Security, Data Security, and Identity Security
