Job Summary: The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of assigned business software systems with a strong focus on data implementation, system configuration, and end-user support. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams to ensure accurate data migration, system functionality, issue resolution, and user adoption. The analyst serves as a key support resource through helpdesk operations, troubleshooting system issues, documenting processes, and assisting users with day-to-day software utilization.
Work Location: This is a US based remote role with roughly 20% travel required.
Pay Range: $57,000 - $92,000. This pay range is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of compensation for this role across the country. The final offer for this position will be determined by factors including geographic location, experience, skills and education.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with software implementation projects, including data preparation, data imports, validation, and system configuration activities.
  • Support data integrity initiatives by reviewing, auditing, and correcting system data to ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather operational requirements and assist in translating business needs into system solutions.
  • Analyze workflows, processes, and system usage to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and user experience.
  • Provide Tier II helpdesk support by troubleshooting application issues, responding to user inquiries, and resolving software-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets to ensure service level expectations and response times are met.
  • Escalate complex system issues appropriately while maintaining communication with end users regarding status and resolution.
  • Assist users with system navigation, functionality questions, reporting needs, and troubleshooting best practices.
  • Assist with testing system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and bug fixes to validate functionality and accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with developers, vendors, operations teams, and senior analysts to support system enhancements and implementations.
  • Assist in monitoring system performance and identifying areas for optimization or process improvement.
  • Support recurring audits and reporting initiatives related to system usage, data quality, and operational compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related preferred.
  • 1+ years experience as a Business Applications Administrator or in a related role
  • Experience supporting enterprise business systems, ticketing platforms, or operational software environments preferred.
  • Experience working with data imports, spreadsheets, reporting, or system configuration is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software and data-related issues effectively.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple helpdesk requests, projects, and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and process consistency.
  • Basic understanding of software implementation processes, system integrations, and data management principles.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support users professionally and efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data review and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn new software systems, technologies, and business processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information appropriately.

Physical Requirements:
  • Majority of work is performed in an office setting with prolonged periods of sitting and computer usage.
  • Requires visual acuity to review system data, troubleshoot issues, and analyze reports and documentation.
  • Occasional travel (20%) for training, implementation support, or business meetings may be required.
