Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea & BenMaier is currently looking for a detail-oriented data entry clerk in Houston to join our War Hazards department. This position is essential for processing and keeping track of war-related injury claims under the War Hazards Compensation Act.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Organize and manage databases to ensure information is easily accessible.
  • Handling of high volume claims and invoices.
  • Reviewing payment history.
  • Transcribe documents and data from various sources into digital formats.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies regarding data handling and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must be open to working fully in office, Mon-Fri, from our office in downtown Houston.
  • Excel proficiency is required.
  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with databases and office software applications.
  • Basic math skills for handling numerical data accurately.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of documents.
