Job Overview:

Pay Range: $65.00hr - $70.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Architecture, Metadata Management, or Data Strategy.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise Data Governance programs and transformations.
  • Consulting experience working directly with clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives while remaining hands-on in delivery.
  • Experience building prototypes, accelerators, POCs, and implementation solutions.
  • Strong domain experience within Investment Management, Asset Management, Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Cloud Platform, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon S3.
  • Expertise in REST APIs and Metadata Integration Frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in Metadata Management, Data Cataloging, Data Lineage, and Data Quality Governance.
  • Knowledge of Data Privacy, Data Classification, Data Security Governance, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Understanding of Master and Reference Data Governance, Data Sharing, and Data Products.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprisewide Data Governance transformation programs.
  • Define governance frameworks, operating models, standards, policies, and controls.
  • Establish strategic roadmaps for governance adoption and maturity.
  • Partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to drive governance objectives.
  • Design, build, and demonstrate governance Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and solution showcases for stakeholders.
  • Configure and implement Microsoft Purview, Informatica CDGC, and related governance solutions.
  • Develop governance integrations and automation capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership during implementation and deployment activities.
  • Implement enterprise metadata management capabilities and manage business glossaries.
  • Design and implement end-to-end lineage capabilities using Solidatus and Microsoft Purview.
  • Integrate governance platforms with enterprise technologies including Azure Data Services, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Facilitate governance councils, steering committees, and architecture review sessions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Ataccama.
  • Experience implementing Microsoft Purview Unified Catalog and Data Map.
  • Experience with governance automation and API-driven metadata management.
  • Understanding of financial products, investment operations, trading, and customer reference data domains.
  • Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting enterprisewide governance operating models and data stewardship programs.
