RCM Transport Ltd is an oilfield fluid services company, based in Red Deer, Rocky, and Drumheller. Founded in 1994, RCM has since built a reputation for service, efficiency and above all, safety. Family owned and operated and looking for experienced team players!

Position:

Dispatcher


Description:

This is an exciting, high-energy role and we are looking for candidates that can bring the enthusiasm, positivity, and the attention to detail required to be successful.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Fielding customer calls and requests, and building strong positive relationships with customers, co-workers and contractors.
  • Planning, coordinating, overseeing and invoicing jobs.
  • Communicating job details to drivers/subcontractors and working with operations management to drive equipment utilization, maximizing efficiency and mitigating risks.
  • Accurately and quickly sorting incoming paperwork, completing field invoices, as well as important data entry.
  • Day-to-day monitoring of drivers log books/ELD system in accordance with Federal Commercial Drivers Hours of Service regulations.
  • Day-to-day monitoring of driver paperwork and safety violations.


Schedule:

Full time, 10 days on, 4 days off. Alternating on-call schedule with one other Dispatcher. 24 hours availability required when on-call.


Wage:

Salary position, starting at $72,000 per year based on experience. Comprehensive benefits program, including Health Spending Account.


We Provide:

Relevant safety, hours of service and job specific training. PPE as required.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in person and via phone, email and instant messenger with employees, customers, contractors and suppliers.
  • Organizational skills and administrative skills are very important.
  • Must demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to various software suites.
  • Available to be on call 24hrs per day during scheduled on-call days.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Previous admin experience is highly valuable.
  • Previous oilfield or dispatch experience an asset but not needed.
  • Minimum Class 5 Licence
  • Must live in Red Deer or Red Deer Area
