Job Summary
The Supply Chain Assistant provides essential support to the Supply Chain and Production Planning teams. This role is responsible for running and tracking parts throughout the production process, performing accurate data entry into the ERP/MRP system, and assisting with documentation and reporting. The Supply Chain Assistant will also provide general support to buyers, planners, and other areas of supply chain operations to ensure the efficient flow of materials, timely delivery of parts, and smooth coordination across departments.
Responsibilities:
  • Run and deliver parts to designated areas to support production schedules.
  • Track part movement throughout the facility, ensuring accuracy of documentation.
  • Perform data entry into the ERP/MRP system for order entry, part status, inventory, and transactions.
  • Assist planners and buyers with expediting parts, materials and resolving part shortages.
  • Support inventory cycle counts and reconciliation efforts.
  • Manage and track in process material tests ensuring they are moving and delivered
  • Prepare, update, and maintain supply chain records, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and communicate part shortages or delays to planners and supervisors.
  • Assist in processing purchase orders from customer portals.
  • Provide general support to supply chain functions, including shipping/receiving, production planning, materials management and part movement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow
  • Support internal customer requests for information and/or reports

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing or supply chain role preferred.
  • Experience with data entry, inventory, or ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain, inventory, or production processes preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
