Job description

Job Duties:
  • Have a substantial background of FQHC payers
  • Minimum 3 years recent billing experience (within the last 2 years)
  • Commercial billing experience - knowledge of CPT4, HCPC, and ICD-10 codes, ability to read EOB's in order to process the information needed from commercial payors (workers comp experience is a plus) Be able to submit claims through an electronic automated billing system as well as experience with mailing paper claims.
  • Commercial AR experience - ability to understand EOB's and RA's from commercial payors with knowledge of appropriate actions to take for payment. Understanding of accounts receivable and aging reports, ability to process 75-90 accounts per day.
