Talascend is currently seeking an Data Entry Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity with our client in Allen Park, Michigan.
Overview
This position supports the shop floor with data entry and administrative tasks, requiring strong parts knowledge, data entry experience, and excellent Excel skills. The role involves working long hours on the shop floor and walking.
Responsibilities

  • Support the shop floor with data entry and administrative tasks
  • Assist with parts ordering and parts knowledge
  • Maintain accurate data entry in Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Work on the shop floor and walk as needed
  • Work extended shifts as applicable
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of data entry experience
  • Proven experience with MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Parts ordering/purchasing experience
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
