Summary
Assists the Retail Store Manager and Retail Assistant Store Manager in the operation and management of a retail center by performing the following duties personally or through supporting team members.

Recognizes when team members need coaching and provides immediate coaching when applicable.
Issue refunds and resolves customer concerns.
Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to a member of store management, appropriate District Manager, and/or Asset Protection department.
Complies with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
Leads retail team and store activities in the absence of/and at the direction of the Retail Store Manager and/or Retail Assistant Store Manager; see Supervisory Responsibilities below.
Performs all administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to completing opening/closing duties, making bank deposits and securing the building at the direction of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities
Leads retail team and store activities in the absence of/and at the direction of the Retail Store Manager and/or Retail Assistant Store Manager. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and procedures. Responsibilities include training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing concerns and reporting circumstances to the Retail Store Manager or Retail Assistant Store Manager.

Qualifications
Must be able to:
Read and interpret memos and operating and procedure manuals.
Effectively present standard information in oneonone situations to customers and other team
members of the organization using tact, courtesy and cooperativeness.
Add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10's and 100's.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables.
Operate a telephone, multi-key register, typewriter, computer, fax machine, and material handling
equipment.
Obtain and maintain Forklift/Stacker and CPR/First Aid certifications.
Perform data entry and keyboarding.
Instruct or verify the work of others.
Education and Experience
High School diplomas or general education degree (GED) and one year of retail experience; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
The team member is regularly (more than 2/3 of the day) required to talk or hear. The team member frequently
(1/3 to 2/3 of the day) is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms;
push or pull. The team member is occasionally (less than 1/3 of the day) required to sit, kneel, stoop, throw, turn
and twist body. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or
move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth
perception. Some local travel required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to dust and outside weather
conditions. The team member is occasionally exposed to the extreme cold, extreme heat and wet or humid
conditions.
