Job description

The Manager, Data Conversion leads a team of Data Conversion Specialists and Conversion Consultants, owning the full lifecycle of dealership data conversion within a SaaS environment. This includes requirements gathering, solution design, client acceptance, timeline creation, implementation, unit testing, tool validation, and template maintenance. This role is critical in transforming large volumes of complex data into our flagship SaaS product, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and scalability.   

The Manager also partners closely with Research & Development to prioritize tool enhancements that improve conversion speed, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and product excellence.  

 What you'll do: 
  • Lead the development and execution of data extraction transformation, and load (ETL) programs within a SaaS framework. 
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure data conversions meet customer requirements  and reduce rework. 
  • Drive improvements in customer experience by minimizing manual data entry during final cutover periods 
  • Analyze and document competitive DMS systems to accelerate conversion capabilities and reduce turnaround time.  
  • Prioritize and maintain reusable conversion templates to support scalability. 
  • Collaborate with team members to develop C# scripts for data mapping and conversion optimization. 
  • Participate in agile sprint planning with Research & Development to automate and improve conversion tools 
  • Perform data validation and corrections by identifying errors and applying structured remediation. 
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed 
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through clear communication and responsive followup. 
  • Use strong leadership and negotiation skills to drive successful implementations across internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Collect and analyze process data, customer feedback and team input to identify continuous improvement opportunities.   
  • Support process improvement initiatives using established methodologies.   
  • Coach, mentor, and collaboratively build associate development plans and conduct ongoing feedback sessions to ensure progress  
 What you should have: 

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in data conversion or ETL processes, preferably in a SaaS or cloud-based environment.   
  • 2-3 years of experience coding  in C# or similar scripting languages  
  • 1+ years experience using MS Visual Studio Code or MS Visual Studio 
  • 1-3 years of experience managing or mentoring a technical team  
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis 
  • Proven experience with data extraction and transformation in SaaS platforms 
  •  Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners (vendors, customers, executives, etc.) 
  • Ability to work cross functionally with product, engineering and implementation teams.Â
