Location: Austin, TX (North Austin)
Job Type: Contract (Month-to-Month) with Potential for Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 100% In-Office
Start Date: ASAP

About the Opportunity
Our client in the life insurance industry is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support both their Accounting and HR/Payroll teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys repetitive, detail-oriented work and takes pride in producing accurate results.
The day is split between supporting accounting-related data entry and payroll/HR data entry, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build experience in a professional corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Enter high volumes of data accurately into internal software systems
- Process accounts payable and accounting-related data entry
- Enter agent and employee information while following established procedures
- Transfer information from Excel reports into company systems with a high level of accuracy
- Meet daily production deadlines while maintaining quality
- Verify information for completeness and accuracy before submission
- Follow established processes and workflows to ensure consistency
- Support Accounting and HR/Payroll departments with administrative data entry tasks
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of recent data entry experience preferred
- Previous experience supporting an Accounting, Payroll, or HR team is highly preferred
- Experience with Oracle is a plus
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to meeting deadlines
