Why This Role Matters

As a Claims Processor, you play an essential role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of health and dental claims. By reviewing and entering claim information into our systems with precision, you help ensure claims are adjudicated correctly and members receive timely and reliable service. This role also supports the broader Health & Dental Claims team through administrative tasks that contribute to meeting service level commitments.

This is a hybrid, 12-month contract role, based out of our office in Calgary, AB.

What Youโ€™ll Be Responsible For

  • Accurately enter claim information into the claims processing systems.
  • Process MPACS claims through data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review and release ClaimSecure audit claims.
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting productivity targets.
  • Support the Health & Dental Claims team with administrative tasks as required.
  • File claim documentation and correspondence as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet service level agreements, including maintaining a maximum two-day turnaround time.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to support efficient claim processing.
  • Contribute to a productive and collaborative team environment while working toward individual productivity goals.

  • Strong data entry skills, including familiarity with number-pad entry.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office.

Compensation

At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $42,000-$47,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass the comprehensive total rewards package that we proudly offer.
