Job description

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry/Cashier with prior tobacco retail experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a tobacco retail environment, be comfortable handling cash transactions, and possess strong accuracy skills when counting money and reviewing daily totals. This individual will be responsible for ensuring cash and transaction records match and are entered accurately into company systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Count and verify daily cash receipts and transaction totals.
  • Accurately enter financial and operational data into the system.
  • Compare figures and ensure all amounts match correctly.
  • Utilize Turning Point and Microsoft Excel for basic data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain organized records and identify discrepancies when needed.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation.

Requirements:

  • Previous tobacco retail experience required.
  • Prior cashier and cash-handling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills (data entry and basic functions).
  • Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Dependable with strong organizational skills.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM (depending on workload)
  • 100% onsite
