Summary: Responsible for accurate entry of data into computer system, filing, answering telephones and providing general clerical support to assigned department.  Other assignments might include rating and/or customer service functions as needed. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Enter data from source documents into computer.
  • Gather information for input and update reports.
  • Log and file source documents.
  • Answer phone and assist callers.
  • Perform various clerical duties including filing, photocopying, sorting and mailing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:   

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • PC literate. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and effectively presenting information one-on-one or in small group situations.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write basic correspondence.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities.
  • Consistently at work and on time.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

 

Minimum:

  • High School Degree or GED.
  • One to three years related experience.

 

Preferred:

  • Minimum one year industry experience.
