Function
The campus level data entry clerk performs clerical tasks that are necessary for the campus office to run smoothly and efficiently.
Reports To:
School Principal
Responsibilities:
  • Attendance - Record any and all student absences. Make any and all necessary contacts in order to record reasons for students' absences.
  • Develop, process, and file documents.
  • Answer the telephone.
  • Serve as the receiving/processing agent for incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in the school clinic.
  • Process enrollments and withdrawals.
  • Process student records to and from schools when students withdraw from CCISD or transfer within CCISD.
  • Ensure that parents/visitors feel welcome at school
  • Respond to campus related inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between parents & teachers.
  • Work closely with parents to facilitate the filling out of necessary forms.
  • Assist with parent orientation and training sessions.
  • Promote school attendance through phone call.
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting school volunteers.
  • Maintain lines of communication with volunteers and the Office of Community Involvement
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to receive information and/or instruction from internal/external customers through spoken expression.
  • Ability to manipulate tools/equipment/keyboards.
  • Ability to convey information and/or instruction to internal/external customers through spoken expression.
  • Ability to perform work while standing and/or walking for extended periods, up to eight (8) hours a day.
  • Ability to see detailed information, naturally or with correction.
