About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our iLab team for the Fall co-op term (September - December 2026). This role is ideal for a student with a strong technical background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), data management, and system integration. You will play a key role in improving access to information, enhancing system documentation, and supporting large-scale data entry initiatives to ensure accuracy, usability, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in improving access to internal systems and ensuring data/documentation is well-organized, accurate, and easy to retrieve.
  • Support the integration of AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance data processing, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct large-scale data entry with high attention to detail, ensuring information is clean, structured, and consistent.
  • Collaborate with the iLab team to design and implement process improvements for data management and system accessibility.
  • Contribute to documentation efforts, making technical systems more user-friendly and impactful for diverse stakeholders.
  • Perform ad hoc research and technical tasks to support ongoing innovation projects within the lab.
Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related AI applications.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in data entry, data management, or system documentation.
  • Familiarity with databases, data visualization tools, or workflow automation is considered an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
