Job description

Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Food and Beverage; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations command (CNIC); NSE - All-American Restaurant.Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, business operations, or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Experience is required in an office environment with progressive responsibilities or related education.
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable regulations, policies, principles, and procedures.
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees.
  • Must have ability to use initiative, discretion, and independent judgment in making decisions.
  • Must be people-orientated and have an excellent sense of customer relations.
  • Must possess a courteous, tactful and diplomatic demeanor.
  • Skill in computer data entry is desired and must have knowledge of software applications such as but not limited to Word and Excel.
