Ocean Container Solutions & Transit is a fast-paced logistics company committed to efficient warehousing and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, supporting our front desk and warehouse operations.

Job Summary:
 

The Warehouse Data Entry & Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also providing crucial data entry support for our warehouse inventory and operations. This role requires a blend of strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor. 

Responsibilities:

Receptionist:
 

Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Greet visitors, customers, and vendors, and direct them appropriately.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Provide administrative support as needed for other departments.

Data Entry:
 

Process shipping and receiving documents, ensuring all information is correctly entered.

Verify and correct data inconsistencies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Generate reports related to inventory levels, shipment status, and other operational metrics.

Assist with organizing and filing digital and physical records. 

Qualifications:
 

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.

Familiarity with warehouse operations or inventory management systems is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
