The Material Handler plays a pivotal role within our logistics team whose responsibility is to supply the production teams with key materials required for our global manufacturing and distribution efforts. This position is crucial for enhancing and maintaining our production cycle, thereby meeting our customer satisfaction needs and on-time-delivery metrics. The primary duties for this position is moving and stocking hardware material within the warehouse.


In addition to annual initiatives, the key responsibilities are as follows:


Key Accountabilities:

  • Moving and stocking hardware material to and from various production departments
  • Regularly relaying information to the Manager, Materials & Logistics or other Team Lead
  • Receiving, and order-picking as required
  • Overseeing and maintaining parts, materials, and other equipment while moving throughout warehouse areas
  • Performing receiving and order-picking data-entry transactions, using a Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) software and hand-scanner
  • Data entry of basic addition and subtraction calculations in Microsoft Excel or similar program
  • Adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • All other duties as may be assigned

  • 1-2 years experience in material handling and/or inventory control
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in an industrial environment preferred
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel formulas for addition and subtraction
