We are seeking a dependable and professional Customer Service Representative to join our impound yard team. This position is responsible for assisting customers whose vehicles have been impounded, processing paperwork, entering data into company software, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate can remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively with upset customers, and handle administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities
โข Greet and assist customers in the lobby regarding impounded vehicles
โข Explain impound procedures, required documentation, fees, and release requirements
โข Handle difficult or upset customers professionally and respectfully
โข Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
โข Process vehicle release paperwork and maintain organized filing systems
โข Perform accurate data entry into company computer systems and databases
โข Verify identification, ownership documents, insurance, and other required paperwork
โข Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of customer and vehicle records
โข Coordinate with tow operators, law enforcement agencies, and yard staff as needed
โข Collect payments and issue receipts when applicable
โข Keep the front office and lobby area organized and professional
Qualifications
โข High school diploma or equivalent preferred
โข Previous customer service or office experience preferred
โข Basic computer and data entry skills
โข Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities
โข Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations
โข Attention to detail and organizational skills
โข Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
โข Bilingual skills are a plus
Work Environment
This position works in an office/lobby setting within an active impound yard environment. Employees regularly interact with frustrated or emotional customers and must maintain professionalism at all times.
Schedule

โข Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with the occasional Saturday (once a month)
