What is a data entry paid in crypto?

Data Entry Paid In Crypto jobs are positions where workers perform data entry tasks—such as inputting, updating, or managing information—and receive their compensation in cryptocurrency instead of traditional currency. These jobs are often remote and may involve entering data into spreadsheets, databases, or company systems. Payment is typically made in popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, or stablecoins. This arrangement appeals to those interested in digital assets or people in countries with limited banking access. It's important to verify the legitimacy of employers to avoid scams.

How does being paid in cryptocurrency affect the daily workflow and responsibilities of a data entry professional?

Being paid in cryptocurrency as a Data Entry professional usually does not change your core daily responsibilities, such as entering, verifying, and managing data accurately. However, you may need to familiarize yourself with basic crypto wallet operations for receiving payments, and sometimes communicate with payroll or HR teams about transaction timing and exchange rates. It's also important to stay organized with payment records for tax and personal tracking purposes. This setup can offer flexibility and fast international payments, but it may require extra attention to security and understanding of the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a data entry specialist paid in cryptocurrency, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Data Entry Specialist paid in crypto, you need excellent keyboarding skills, attention to detail, and a strong grasp of basic data management, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with spreadsheet software (like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets), data entry platforms, and basic knowledge of cryptocurrency wallets and transactions is important. Reliability, discretion, and time management are standout soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure accurate data processing, secure crypto transactions, and efficient workflow in a digital payment environment.

Job description

ABOUT THE JOB
The Order Entry Specialist transfers customer orders from ServiceNow into the billing platform (Omnia360) accurately and on time. This role ensures order data is complete and correct as it moves between systems, protecting billing accuracy and install timelines across Dobson's tri-state fiber footprint.
Order data today moves between systems through manual entry, where errors and mismatches drive billing corrections and install delays. This role owns the accuracy of that handoff and holds the line on data quality before orders reach provisioning and billing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enter customer orders from ServiceNow into the billing platform (Omnia360) accurately and within established turnaround standards.
  • Validate that service address, product, pricing, and promotional terms match across both systems before completing entry.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between the ServiceNow record and the billing entry.
  • Correct data errors before they reach provisioning or billing.
  • Flag orders with missing or conflicting information and route them for resolution.
  • Track order-entry volume and turnaround, and surface trends that signal upstream data problems.
  • Maintain accurate records and support order-status reporting.
  • Follow documented entry procedures and contribute improvements as workflows evolve.
First 90 day priorities
  • Learn the ServiceNow to Omnia360 order flow end to end and meet accuracy and volume standards independently.
  • Work the active order queue without backlog, clearing daily entry within turnaround targets.
  • Identify the most common sources of order discrepancies and recommend fixes to reduce rework.
  • Document the entry process as performed so the workflow is repeatable and trainable.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of data entry, order processing, or back-office operations experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under volume.
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems at once and reconciling data between them.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred: telecommunications, broadband, fiber, cable, or utilities experience.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with ServiceNow, a CRM, or a billing platform.
  • Preferred: familiarity with FTTH or fiber service workflows.
Work schedule
Hours fall within contact center operating windows, Monday through Saturday. Specific shift assigned at hire.
Work location
This role is based in Oklahoma City, OK.
SAFETY EXPECTATIONS
  • Compliance with company safety policies, PPE, safe driving, DOT requirements, etc.
ENVIRONMENTAL / WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment.
  • Occasional business travel may be required based on business needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively and utilize standard office technology and equipment.
  • May require remaining in a stationary position and moving throughout the work environment as needed to perform job responsibilities.
