Compensation: $20.71 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: Weekend Shift | Friday-Sunday | 5:00am-5:30pm

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers for a leading power distribution equipment manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure materials and inventory are available where and when they're needed to support production operations. If you enjoy hands-on warehouse work, working with inventory systems, and being part of a safety-focused team, this could be a great opportunity with reliable hours and weekly pay.

  • Conduct material transactions according to production schedules and ERP system signals
  • Pull, issue, and transfer inventory within the ERP system
  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely (training/certification provided)
  • Read and follow job travelers, sales orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Clean, organize, and restock warehouse areas
  • Complete additional materials and warehouse duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and follow work instructions in English
  • Basic computer and accurate data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and material usage calculations
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, forklift, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection
