Job description

Overview

The Data Entry Assistant is responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of asset master data within the SAP S/4HANA system. This position supports operations and maintenance teams by establishing and managing asset records, functional locations, and related master data required for work order management and asset tracking. The role ensures data consistency, compliance with company standards, and alignment with asset management processes. 

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain asset master data within the SAP system.
  • Establish and update functional locations, equipment records, and asset hierarchies.
  • Support creation and maintenance of work order-related master data.
  • Review and validate asset data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to gather required asset information.
  • Maintain documentation and standards for asset naming conventions, classifications, and structures.
  • Assist with data corrections, updates, and system clean-up activities.
  • Support SAP system migrations, audits, and data quality reviews.
  • Generate reports and provide insight into asset data accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications
  • 1+ Year experience working in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, or similar enterprise systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Understanding of asset management and maintenance processes.
  • Experience working with master data creation and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to follow data governance standards and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data review and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision.  
  • Candidate must reside within a 45 mile radius of the job site.
  • Must be willing to accept 6 months to year project. 
  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements.
