Job description

Position Overview

The Transaction Processor will support high-volume administrative processing operations related to enrollment and eligibility transactions. Reporting to a Transaction Processing Supervisor, this role is responsible for researching, analyzing, and updating consumer information across multiple systems.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with internal staff and stakeholders.

  • Process transactions accurately according to established procedures and guidelines.

  • Meet or exceed daily productivity targets for assigned tasks.

  • Maintain quality standards with minimal errors according to the Quality Assurance Plan.

  • Provide strong internal and external customer service.

  • Maintain knowledge of operational systems and processing procedures.

  • Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet contract guidelines.

  • Maintain punctual attendance and readiness for daily responsibilities.

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to achieving high performance results.

  • Follow all project site attendance and operational policies.


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing workloads

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently after training

  • Comfortable working with multiple systems and computer applications

  • Ability to meet productivity standards while maintaining quality

  • Strong organizational skills and time management


Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree preferred

  • Experience in eligibility determination or transaction processing is preferred


Work Environment
  • Office-based work environment

  • Fast-paced production environment

  • Occasional overtime may be required, including evenings or weekends


Physical Requirements
  • Primarily seated work with frequent keyboard use

  • Occasional standing, walking, or reaching

  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds

  • Close vision and ability to focus on computer screens for extended periods
