Job Description: Administrative Assistant- Main Office
Summary/Objective
The Administrative Assistant will support Team BRANDT, LLC main office and the accounting team in various functions. This position will be responsible for providing clerical and foundational accounting support as well as general administrative tasks. The administrative assistant may be responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material and must be familiar with a variety of accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
The Administrative Assistant will report to the Office Manager and work closely with the accounting team as well as other Main Office employees.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to compile data into Excel for analysis
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars and conference room availability
  • Data entry into information systems
  • General invoice processing
  • Handling employee expense reports
  • Provide excellent customer service to walk-in traffic and via phone.
  • Responsible for answering the main phone line
  • Responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail including UPS and FedEx packages
  • Assists with meeting and lunch preparations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Classification/Expected Hours of Employment
This position is a full-time position and is exempt from minimum wage and overtime pay requirements under federal and all applicable state or local laws. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm with a half hour for lunch.
Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1 to 3 years accounting related experience or an equivalent combination of education or training
  • Intermediate computer and software skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
