Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys providing exceptional customer service while supporting a collaborative team? We are seeking an Office Support Specialist to join a well-established professional office in Springfield, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.
This position offers long-term stability, a supportive team culture, and the opportunity to play an important role in the daily operations of the office. During the busy season (January through April), overtime is expected to help support increased client demand.
Compensation & Schedule:
  • $45,000-$50,000 annually, based on experience
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Overtime required during the busy season (January-April)

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Provide front desk reception and administrative support
  • Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate office records
  • Assist with various administrative projects and duties as assigned
  • Work with accounting-related documents, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements
  • Support team members while meeting deadlines with a high level of accuracy
