Job Summary:

This clerical role provides critical administrative and operational support to the Robot Manufacturing Division. This position serves as a central resource for production, purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate data entry, timely processing of work orders, and effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Duties/Responsibilities:

Production Support

  • Produce product labels using company labeling software. 
  • Process daily production labor entries as assigned. 
  • Coordinate hazardous waste disposal for machine shop oils, coolants, and related materials. 
  • Maintain production documentation and filing systems. 
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying administrative process improvements. 


Production Scheduling

  • Maintain and update the master production schedule. 
  • Communicate schedule updates to Production, Sales, Purchasing, and Management. 
  • Assist in identifying production bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts. 
  • Maintain accurate production records and work order status within our ERP system. 


ERP & Manufacturing Administration

  • Complete ERP work order transactions and production step completions. 
  • Release manufacturing work orders and distribute production documentation. 
  • Enter and maintain production data within ERP. 


Operational Support

  • Provide backup support for Shipping and Production Scheduling. 
  • Provide backup support for general office administrative functions. 
  • Assist multiple departments with production-related administrative activities. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing plant or warehouse position (preferred)


Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, and moving of materials
  • Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
