Established in 1975, Non-Profit Yakima Neighborhood Health Services serves patients in the areas of Behavioral Health, Family Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, Primary Care, Pediatrics, Vision Care and Pharmacy.   • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous administrative/office experience required; healthcare administrative experience is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check in relation to the position applied for.

Day to Day:

  • Answering incoming calls.
  • Participate in medical records organization, retrieval and retention.
  • Respond to staff requests for charts.
  • Process correspondence.
  • Ensure appropriate reviews are completed before releasing or filing health care information.
  • Monitor charts for completeness and required documentation.
  • Data entry of patient information.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform Health Care Information activities consistent with medical, ethical, and legal requirements.
