Work Setting:  In-person.

This is a four (4) year fixed-term position.

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Data Entry Specialist which will be based in Millersville, MD. This is a detail-oriented data entry and administrative support role that entails compiling, recording, and reporting asset and financial data. This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of quality, problem solving skills and time management skills. Opportunity for advancement to a supervisory role over time.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Reviews, updates and extracts data from database systems.
  • Maintains database by entering new and updated account information.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verifies entered account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
  • Provide occasional administrative support.
  • Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data management.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Organization skills
  • Analytical abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Experience with office and billing system software applications
  • Experience in data entry is a plus
  • An associate’s degree or graduation from high school supplemented with coursework or experience in bookkeeping or data entry

Pay Range:

  • $20.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience
