Job Title: Tariff Data Entry Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Tariff Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining tariff-related data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain tariff-related data within internal databases and tracking systems.
- Review tariff forms for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established guidelines.
- Validate information against supporting documentation and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Process new tariff submissions, revisions, and updates in accordance with defined procedures and timelines.
- Organize, scan, upload, and maintain electronic and physical records as needed.
- Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding missing information, corrections, and documentation requirements.
- Generate reports and track tariff processing activities as requested by management.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive business information.
- Support additional administrative and data management tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and clerical tasks.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with COFAX software.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to process large volumes of information with precision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in data entry, administrative, documentation, or related fields.
Work Environment
This position is 100% remote and requires the ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Westminster, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
