Job Title: Student Worker - Store Worker

Job Classification: Business Operations, Student

Department: Office of Success and Engagement

Work Schedule: Minimum 10 hours

Desired Length of Employment: Fall/ Spring

Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour

Job Description:

  • Welcome and assist students utilizing The Store in a friendly, respectful, and confidential manner.
  • Stock shelves, refrigerators, and freezers while maintaining an organized shopping environment.
  • Receive, sort, and inventory food donations and deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the pantry and storage areas.
  • Assist with data entry, check-in procedures, and inventory tracking.
  • Help prepare orders and supplies for campus food distribution sites and special programs.
  • Support volunteer groups during service projects and donation drives.
  • Assist with campus outreach events, including the Baylor Free Farmers Market and other Basic Needs initiatives.
