Full Time/Seasonal: (7:00-3:30pm) for O'Gorman High School. Works from August to May.

Coordinate all aspects of attendance for the Assistant Principal and Principal along

with other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attendance Tracking & Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate, current attendance records using school information systems
    • Record daily attendance, sign-ins/outs, and passes
    • Input attendance data, make corrections, and maintain database integrity
    • Verifying excuses and generating letters or compliance reports
    • Ensure attendance records meet state and system requirements
    • Flag chronic absenteeism and truancy cases to report to school administration
    • Maintain confidential files and documentation related to attendance issues
  • Parent & Student Communication:
    • Contact families regarding unexcused absences
    • Handle morning announcement online communication
  • Administrative Support:
    • Create and provide various attendance reports to share with school administrators
    • Manage student attendance files
    • Monitor faculty data entry
    • Assist the administrative assistant.
  • Intervention & Compliance:
    • Track excessive absences to coordinate student contracts
    • Manage senior privileges
    • Flag medical or attendance concerns with leadership and parents
  • Annual Preparations:
    • Update student files
    • Coordinate eligibility lists for early release, work, or Christian service programs.
  • School Culture & Events:
