Job description

TITLE: Freight Unloader

 

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Operate in a safe and efficient manner.  Facilitating the movement product from one location to another, properly load and unload trailers, as well as properly pull product for shipping to customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compliance with company policies
  • Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas
  • Able to perform all daily task of data entry in the IBS Production System
  • Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP’s), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

  • Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
