Remote Data Entry Specialist / Part-time

Chicago, Illinois, United States

About the Job

Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity in Chicago, IL for a Data Entry/Front Office.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, paid time off; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Able to perform all functions/responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving Clerk and has the ability and responsibility to schedule cases and/or invoice cases.
  • Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production.
  • Packs and ships case for delivery through local source or national carrier.
  • Performs the scheduling function for each case
  • Through LIS enter demographics and customer information
  • Print preference notes matching to case.
  • Move case into production area.
  • Invoices cases and assists with billing questions or issues
  • Scanning of paperwork for each case for electronic storage
  • Answer all incoming calls
  • Respond to all inquiries from customers office
  • Refers all technical inquires to appropriate team member
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Some billing experience required

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
