Now Hiring: Quality Assurance Technician in Schofield, WI!
Join our Quality Assurance team to perform quality inspections and root cause analysis. Represents the company in customer quality interactions, supports new product launches, maintains and creates APQP and PPAP documentation, and assists with developing and updating work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs quality inspections and testing using standard methods and measuring equipment to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.
  • Supports PPAP and quality planning activities, including process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and control plans.
  • Applies the Quality Management System by identifying and controlling nonconforming materials, supporting corrective and preventative actions, and determining material disposition.
  • Manages Return Material Authorizations by verifying nonconformance, coordinating investigations, and supporting customer-focused resolutions.
  • Participates in internal audits and evaluates process compliance with work instructions, standards, and customer specifications.
  • Maintains, creates, and communicates quality documentation, including work instructions, quality alerts, and quality data reporting to support continuous improvement.

Desired Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required. Post-high school education including certificates from a technical college or university degrees preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection standards normally acquired through six (6) months experience in a similar position required.
  • Must have good attention to detail in order to visually identify minute imperfections or defects.
  • Proficiency with computer use including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Must have good data entry skills and accuracy.
  • Previous experience with small hand tools and quality inspection tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently.

Working Environment:
  • Works in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required.
  • Up to 30% of time may involve travel to customers.
  • May have exposure to hazardous substances commonly associated with a paint line. See MSDS for specific information.
