Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to support a mission-driven healthcare organization that serves individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders. This individual will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while supporting a multidisciplinary care team.

The PSR will be responsible for front desk operations, patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, phone support, data entry, and coordinating patient care needs. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors and provide exceptional customer service
  • Answer incoming phone calls and relay messages promptly
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments through EPIC
  • Monitor EPIC in-baskets and support clinical workflows
  • Complete general administrative duties including data entry, fax management, mail processing, and supply ordering
  • Coordinate patient services such as transportation and translation assistance
  • Deliver laboratory samples to local hospitals as needed
  • Support clinic programs, events, and outreach initiatives
  • Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned


Required Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare clinic setting
  • At least 1 year of hands-on EPIC scheduling experience
  • Experience working in a front desk, reception, or patient-facing administrative role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of standard office procedures and administrative practices
  • Proficiency with computers and data entry
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $18-$25/hr
