Front Desk/Data Entry Specialist
Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) - Hanscom Air Force Base
Location: Hanscom AFB, MA 01731
Position Type: Full-Time Contractor (1 FTE)
Contract Duration: 5-Year Contract (Base Year + Four Option Years)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Start Date: September 30, 2026
Position Overview
RieLes Group is seeking a Front Desk/Data Entry Specialist to provide administrative, customer service, and data management support for the 66th Force Support Squadron (66 FSS) Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Hanscom Air Force Base.
The specialist will serve as the first point of contact for M&FRC visitors and clients by managing front desk operations, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments and classes, maintaining databases, and supporting Transition Assistance Program (TAP) activities through Air Force systems.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional reception and customer service support for M&FRC visitors and clients
  • Answer incoming phone calls, determine customer needs, and direct individuals to appropriate program staff
  • Greet visitors and provide information regarding M&FRC programs, services, and resources
  • Schedule clients for M&FRC classes, workshops, and appointments
  • Enter and maintain client information and program data in:
  • Air Force Family Integrated Result Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) system
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Transition Assistance Program (TAP) systems
  • Input TAP resources, schedules, and participant information accurately
  • Send class/workshop reminder emails according to program timelines
  • Maintain front desk appearance, including:
  • Organizing chairs, materials, publications, and resources
  • Reporting equipment issues
  • Performing basic office upkeep duties
  • Ensure clients complete sign-in procedures.
  • Prepare monthly client usage and data entry reports.
  • Maintain data entry accuracy of at least 85% within two business days

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a professional environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience using:
Microsoft Windows
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft Office Suite applications
Web-based applications (Microsoft Edge/Chrome)
  • Experience performing data entry and maintaining electronic records.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to follow instructions, manage priorities, and complete tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional customer service standards
  • Understanding of military protocol, support organizations, and military family environments preferred
  • Must maintain professional business casual attire while performing duties

Security Requirements:
  • Must successfully complete required security screening, background check, and fingerprinting
  • Must obtain and maintain access credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must complete required Air Force security and information assurance training
  • Responsible for safeguarding Government property, equipment, and sensitive information
  • Must comply with Privacy Act requirements under 5 U.S.C. ยง 552a

Work Environment:
  • On-site position at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.
  • Standard operating hours:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • 30-minute lunch break between 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Contractor is not required to work federal holidays.
