The QC Tech 1 performs routine product sampling, basic lab testing, and documenting quality data under supervision.

  • Performs all necessary quality testing for in-process and composites as required by SKU.
  • Follows work instructions regarding testing, reporting, non-conforming product, etc.
  • Enters data and test results into IFS daily and into excel spreadsheets as needed.
  • Communicates regularly with mill operator, shift supervisor, production manager and quality manager on any changes to test results, in-process testing, etc.
  • Calibration of all QC lab equipment.
  • Conduct product sampling and testing.
  • Record and report results accurately.
  • Follow safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness.
  • Assist with data entry and quality documentation.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
