Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Inspect Truck and Trailer daily and report findings to ULD Production Manager.
  • Inspect straps and ratchets for serviceability.
  • Operate Forklift to load and unload equipment.
  • Operate vehicle in accordance with federal and local regulations.
  • Operate vehicle within the customer facilities including inside the SIDA area.
  • Accurately document the pick- up and delivery of material on receipt books turning in to the ULD Production Manager.
  • Service the vehicle with Fuel, DEF and Oil as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with all divisions to ensure the completion of all deliveries and pickups.
  • Safely transport all packages and parts, ensuring timely delivery to the correct locations.
  • Inspect and operate company and customer forklift IAW OSHA and company procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • 1-2 years of driving/relevant work experience.
  • Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions Ability to Walk, Sit, Stand, Drive, operate ratchet straps and carry heavy items for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of the following regulations: DOT, Driving Laws, and OSHA.
  • Possess proficient data entry skills to accurately log deliveries and maintain records.
  • Basic Mechanical knowledge as required to operate a truck and trailer, Check oil, Fuel, Transmission fluid.
