Job description

Smoker & Company LLC, a well-established CPA firm with multiple offices in Lancaster and Berks County, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face of our company. This role is essential in managing front desk operations while also providing comprehensive administrative support across our family of companies, offering business services such as collections, business consulting, wealth and property management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inquiries, greeting clients, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and supporting various administrative tasks while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in clients
  • Answer and route incoming calls
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments
  • Process client forms and upload documents to portal
  • Monitor faxes and distribute mail
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Open/Close the office
  • Create Shipping Labels
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3 years of office, reception, or administrative experience, including working directly with clients at a front desk
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with scheduling systems and multi-line phone systems
  • Experience with typing and data entry in an office setting
  • Experience handling high call volume
  • Experience coordinating with internal teams across accounting, tax, or other office functions
  • Experience handling confidential information
